The reasoning behind the elemental associations in the pentagram has always confused me. Are they really only based on the Yod-Heh-Shin-Vav-Heh? Christian Qabala? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yahshuah (this is being discussed elsewhere and I found it interesting)
