Quince

Mom of five kids aged 16-36. Journeying though life, and looking for the way home. Trying to remember that the map is hidden in all I see, even in the face of the grief that has settled upon me since my daughter passed away in 2016. Currently picking through scattered pieces. For the record that looks like flowering Quince (Chaenomeles japonica) rather than fruiting Quince (Cydonia oblonga).
It might look like flowering Quince, but it is not. It is a full proper Quince tree. It has been giving fruit for about 15 years now. 🙂 One of my favourite trees. I have had a flowering quince, not anything like the tree we have now. Keep in mind I took the pic with a retro setting on my android, so it might not be the ideal way to view it.
I should also add, that the Quince is to the right, the Asian Pear is on the left, and my crazy Angelica is at it’s base with some Melissa. I added two pics underneath of some of our harvest from last fall.
